Emotional exhaustion is a real thing for schools. So much of this can be mitigated by scripts that help to manage tension in constructive ways. This resource supports support staff in managing difficult conversations. It is particularly helpful in training staff who are new to a school setting. I have deliberately left the template unbranded so that it can be integrated into any school’s policies and procedures. Wellbeing is not just “tea and biscuits”, it is systems and consistency.
